Impact: Increased students’ enthusiasm for public speaking.

Ms. Valles’ 12th grade class was less than enthusiastic about delivering speeches in front of their peers. In order to make the practice more fun, Ms. Valles requested a speaker and microphone. With the new equipment, her students are eager to take their turn on the microphone. The materials granted by the Classroom Fund have transformed the students’ attitudes about speaking in front of the class. They are now excited to practice speaking in front of an audience and their confidence has increased tremendously.
